Expansion format [ Top ]
Lords of the Night is White Wolf's thirteenth expansion for Vampire: The Eternal Struggle, and is the second set to focus on the four main independent clans.
Each booster pack contains 11 cards randomly selected from a set of 150 all-new cards (no reprints) consisting of 50 rares, 50 uncommons, and 50 commons.
The set also features 4 non-random preconstructed decks, Assamite, Followers of Set, Giovanni, and Ravnos, which contain even more cards and are designed to get beginning players started right away. Each preconstructed deck contains new vampires and library cards that aren't found in the boosters.

Lords of the Night Launch Event
In its 13th year of play, White Wolf celebrates the latest expansion of V:TES. White Wolf and the Princes of the Elder Kindred Network (VEKN) are promoting a weekend (September 29th) long series of tournaments and special events across the globe.
The VTES Lords of the Night Launch Kit contains 2 booster displays, 2 starter displays, and 16 Argent Baton promo. There is enough material to run a sealed starter event for 16 players.

7.3. Standard Sealed Deck Tournament Rules
7.3.1. Deck Construction
Before tournament play begins, each player receives an assortment of sealed product. Each player then creates a tournament deck that meets the Sealed-Deck size requirements found in the game's VEKN Floor Rules. Players are given a set amount of time, determined by the event organizer, in which to construct their decks.
The head judge or tournament organizer may require players to record on a decklist every card they intend to play in their decks. Failure to properly record the cards being played will result in the head judge applying the appropriate provisions of the VEKN Penalty Guidelines.
AFTER THE EVENT: The WW Website will be putting up a news story on the launch events with pictures. Tell us how many people showed up. How many players did you meet? We'll draw a name from the post-event reports submitted and send one person a display of Lords of the Night, just to say thanks for keeping us in the loop.
